ComforPedic® Helps Comfort Families
The ComforPedic® family is proud to participate in the Extreme Makeover Home Edition project, because it offers an opportunity of hope, renewal and comfort to families that have faced some adverse challenges.
"It has been a goal of mine to join with Extreme Makeover; I have been a fan of the show since its inception. Extreme Makeover Home Edition is the quintessential marriage for our company, because on camera and off they are the real deal," expressed Scott Smalling President of ComforPedic.

"We wanted to get the ComforPedic brand in front of an exclusive group of people in a big way," said Scott Smalling, president of Simmons' Specialty Sleep division. "This was a fun opportunity to share ComforPedic mattresses and pillows with a new audience, and once people are introduced to our brand, our products speak for themselves."
During the event, held at the W Hollywood on February 25-26, celebrities who visit the ComforPedic by Simmons™ lounge will receive a ComforPedic® Free Spirit™ pillow, and select Oscar presenters will receive a ComforPedic® Mystic® mattress and foundation. Both products are part of the ComforPedic® Collection and feature ComforPedic Advanced NXG® Memory Foam which responds quickly to your movements and dissipates heat to keep you at an ideal sleeping temperature for ultimate comfort.
"ComforPedic® Advanced NXG® Memory Foam is designed to eliminate the heat and sensation of sleeping in quicksand, two complaints commonly associated with traditional memory foam," said Anne Kozel, Simmons' Specialty Sleep brand director.
The ComforPedic by Simmons™ lounge will feature a ComforPedic® Mystic® mattress on a Simmons' adjustable base bed. Celebrities are invited to test out the mattress and sign a ComforPedic® footstreamer that will later be auctioned off to benefit City of Hope, a comprehensive Cancer research and treatment center. In addition, Simmons will donate $100 for each celebrity photographed with a pillow or mattress, totaling up to $7,500.
